CONNECTIVITY

👉 Subscriptions can be renewed remotely from the web interface

💻 Tab: Sensor > select the sensor equipped with a Linkfeel token.

After renewal, Sigfox data automatically uploads to the cloud.

Between March and the reactivation date, the data remained in internal memory, so it is necessary to go on-site to perform a resynchronisation.

👉 The mobile network is different from the Sigfox radio network.

Please perform the following tests:

  1. Test Sigfox coverage with the tester (RSSI level, see notice).
  2. Test from the sensor, after activating the Linkfeel token.
    🎥 See the video

🆘 If, after these checks, data transmission still does not work, please send:

  • the Linkfeel ID of the sensor,
  • the site address,
  • a brief description of the difficulties encountered (screenshots welcome),
    ✉️ sav@feelbat.fr.

👉 Yes. The message simply indicates that the Bluetooth connection is cut off.

Before leaving your site, make sure that the option "Enable data recording" is checked (blue button pointing to the right).

This ensures that the data is recorded in internal memory.

When activating a Sigfox token, the data will then be transmitted remotely, provided there is sufficient Sigfox coverage.

👉 Lors du remplacement de la pile, un processus de resynchronisation et de réalignement des courbes est disponible dans l’application (cf. fiche de renseignement).

It is essential to follow this process so that your sensor correctly records the battery change.

📌 Note:

  • Only use new batteries sold by FEELBAT (compatibility guaranteed).
  • Remember to identify the faulty battery you are removing.

👉 The position of the DELTA R sensor is essential for correctly analysing the data and knowing in which direction the tilt occurs.

  • Recommended orientation:
    • Labelradio waveupwards
    • Y+ axis oriented away from the wall

The Sigfox antenna is located on the Y+ side, ensuring ideal conditions for data transmission.

👉 Yes. It is recommended to test the microstation before going on site.

Mandatory activation via the Unabiz site (see manual).

If you are using a SIM card other than FEELBAT, make sure you have all the necessary elements for setting up the microstation via the application.

👉 Yes. You can connect the microstation to an Ethernet power supply, provided that no firewall is active. (existing internet box, starlink, etc.)

👉 If a Linkfeel token is associated with this sensor and it is also connected to a repeater?

This likely indicates that there is no longer Sigfox radio coverage at the location where the sensor is installed.

Contact sav@feelbat.fr to confirm.

👉  To reactivate an old sensor, go to the Webmonitoring:https://monitoring.feelbat.eu/projects

  1. Click on the Sensor tab.
  2. Select the sensor with the Linkfeel token.
  3. Check the serial number of the sensor.
  4. If you have Linkfeel tokens on your profile, the site will automatically offer to renew the sensor's subscription.

This operation can be performed remotely, without any on-site intervention.

👉 Yes. Bluetooth is essential for connecting to the sensor and configuring it.

👉 It is possible that the network is not working or is degraded.Initialization may take several hours.

💡 It is advisable to test the Sigfox network with a tester before installation, and to activate Sigfox only if the test is successful.

What should I do if I absolutely need to receive data remotely?

Depending on your site's configuration, you can equip yourself with:

  • A Sigfox repeater : information relay, subject to Sigfox coverage.
  • A Sigfox microstation : creating a local Sigfox network, requiring a 220 V socket and an Internet connection (3G/4G or Ethernet without a firewall).
  • A FEELBOX: information relay via Bluetooth with data forwarding via 3G/4G, subject to available mobile coverage.

👉 Check the device used (avoid Crosscall).

  • Make sure you have the latest version of the application (if in doubt → uninstall and reinstall).
  • Check the batteries: new sensor or recent replacement.
  • Try searching via "Add a sensor".

If the sensor still does not appear → battery possibly dead.
🆘 Otherwise, contact sav@feelbat.fr.

👉 Please send to sav@feelbat.fr :

  • Photos of the installation
  • The site address
  • The installation configuration (indoor or outdoor)

During your next visit to the site, remember to perform:

  1. A Bluetooth connection test
  2. A resynchronisation
  3. A Sigfox test

👉 Test the network

  • Use your network tester to analyse the reception level (cf. tester manual).
  • If the sensor is already activated, connect via Bluetooth and perform a live Sigfox test to check for network presence.

🆘 If the tests are positive
You can send an email to  sav@feelbat.fr specifying:

  • The name of the project
  • The email address of your account
  • The serial number of the sensor
  • The network tests carried out beforehand
  • A photo of the sensor setup

👉 To get started

  1. Check the Linkfeel subscription
    • Ensure that your Linkfeel subscription is still active.
    • If not, you can renew it remotely by purchasing credits and then converting them into a LINKFEEL token from the Web Monitoring :
💻 Sensors tab > Sensor with Linkfeel token > Renewal.
  2. Check the sensor battery
    • After renewal, depending on the measurement interval, the battery may be discharged.
    • If the sensor no longer transmits and it is impossible to connect via Bluetooth, a battery replacement is necessary.
    • Follow the battery replacement process described in the information sheet.

👉 Only one activation is required during the initial setup of the microstation.

👉 The manual is available here

  1. Activation of the tester
    • Before any use, send aphoto of the back of your testerto  sav@feelbat.fr.
    • This will allow itsremote activation.
  2. Application required
    • The application to use is"Coverage Tester".
    • It only works onAndroid(smartphone or tablet).

  • Check that thedata recordingactivation button is properly engaged.
  • Check if yourLinkfeel subscription is still active. If not, you can renew it by purchasing credits (convertible to Linkfeel tokens) directly from the Monitoring web interface (Sensors tab > Sensors with Linkfeel tokens > Renewal).
  • If you have already renewed, ensure that thebattery is still functional, taking into account the chosen measurement interval.
  • If the sensor is no longer transmitting and it is also impossible to connect via Bluetooth, battery replacement is necessary(see battery replacement procedure in the information sheet).

  • To recover data in offline mode, proceed as follows:
  1. Activate the "offline" mode while you have a 4G connection on your phone.
  2. Move closer to the sensor, then connect via Bluetooth.
  3. Click on “Synchronise” (or via Settings > Action > Resynchronisation).
→ The data will then be saved in your phone's memory.
  4. Then, return to an area with 4G (or 5G) and switch back to “online” mode.
  5. Open the sensor curve to check that all the data has been synchronised.
